The Founder
Hi — I’m Ysabel.
I’m really glad you’re here.
Global Dream Team began in 2021 as a YouTube channel — a simple idea rooted in curiosity, storytelling, and a desire to understand how people around the world were designing lives that felt meaningful to them.
After graduating from UCLA in 2019, I found myself at a crossroads: follow a traditional corporate path, or take a chance on something less certain. True to my nature, I chose the startup route — becoming employee number one at an early-stage company.
That experience taught me a great deal. But over time, I felt a growing misalignment between the impact I wanted to create and the direction I was moving in. I was surrounded by capable, ambitious people — many of us quietly questioning whether this was truly what adult life was meant to feel like.
When the world slowed down during COVID, I finally gave myself space to listen. I asked different questions:
What do I actually want to build?
What kind of life feels honest, expansive, and true?
That inquiry led me back to storytelling — and out into the world. I began traveling with a camera, capturing conversations with people who were deeply connected to their work, their values, and their sense of purpose. Those stories changed me. They reminded me what becomes possible when we follow curiosity, listen inward, and choose alignment over expectation.
Since then, I’ve traveled to 40 countries, shared over 100 human stories, and experienced journeys that reshaped how I see myself — and the world.
And over time, I realized the common thread wasn’t travel or storytelling — it was designing environments where people could think clearly and move honestly in alignment with what’s true for them.
Today, Global Dream Team exists as a gathering place for people who feel a similar pull. It’s a space rooted in connection, reflection, and intentional expansion — bringing together thoughtful creators, founders, and builders through shared experience and meaningful community.
At its core, this community is an artistic expression of my journey, my values, and the way I move through the world. It’s about weaving people and ideas together — creating something alive, evolving, and deeply human.
My hope is simple: that more people feel supported in living in alignment with who they truly are. Authentic living doesn’t need to be announced. When something is true, it’s felt — in how you move, how you speak, and how you show up.
I believe that when people live with greater honesty and intention, we don’t just change individual lives — we quietly shape a more connected, thoughtful world.

What is a
True Dream?
A true dream is a deeply personal, authentic desire — one that reflects who you are beneath expectation, conditioning, and external pressure.
It doesn’t come from timelines, comparison, or what you should want.
It comes from an inner knowing — a quiet but persistent pull toward what feels meaningful, alive, and true.
True dreams are aligned with your values, curiosity, and sense of purpose.
They often feel both exciting and uncomfortable — because they ask you to grow, choose intentionally, and step into greater responsibility for your life.
