A Message From The Founder
Hi! I’m Ysabel, and I’m so glad you’re here.
I started Global Dream Team in 2021 as a YouTube channel with a mission to empower others to explore the world and pursue their version of a dream life - whatever that may be.
After graduating from UCLA in 2019, I had a choice: join a major corporate company like Disney, or take a chance on a startup as employee #1. True to my risk-taking nature, I chose the startup.
That first year taught me a lot - but over time, I felt deeply misaligned. I came in passionate about making a difference - but over time, I sensed a disconnect between the company’s direction and the kind of impact I wanted to create.
Friends and I would often bond over jobs we disliked - stuck in a constant loop of complaining that made me question if this was really what adult life was meant to be. When COVID hit, I finally had space to reflect. I asked myself what I actually wanted to build - and what kind of life would feel meaningful.
That’s when I started my YouTube channel and set off to travel the world, capturing the stories of people who were deeply passionate about their lives and work. Those conversations and connections changed everything. They showed me what’s possible when you follow your heart and commit to building a life that feels truly fulfilling. Since then, I’ve traveled to 40 countries with a camera in hand, meeting incredible people and experiencing transformational journeys. These adventures have led to deep self-discovery and a broader worldview.
Now, my mission is to bring others together through global travel experiences, meaningful connections, and shared dreams. At its core, this community is an artistic expression of my journey, the things I love doing, and deeply held values. It’s about tying people and pieces together to create something truly special—a reflection of my unique truth, aligned with who I am that is ever evolving.
My greatest hope is that more people get to live in alignment with who they truly are - pursuing the dreams and purpose that light them up. Authentic living doesn’t require announcing it. When you’re true to yourself, it shows. It’s in how you move, how you speak, and how you show up - no explanation needed.
In my eyes, happier people who live authentically create a happier and more authentic society - and, ultimately, a happier and more authentic world.

What is a "True Dream"?
True Dream (noun): A true dream is a deeply personal and authentic aspiration that reflects your core values, passions, and purpose.
